Koru Migration has been founded by Lisa Weimann, a German migrant living in Wellington, Aotearoa for six years.
After kicking off her career as case manager and career counsellor at the German Ministry of Social Development (Bundesagentur für Arbeit), Lisa went to university to complete a Bachelor of Business Administration specialising in Human Resources, Leadership, Organisational Development, Cultural Management and Data Security and Compliance. Throughout her studies, Lisa had the opportunity to intern in the United States which presented her with her first immigration challenge. Upon her return, Lisa wanted to see more of the world and moved to Australia before settling in New Zealand. Lisa is now a Recruitment specialist with a knack for all things immigration.
"Navigating the complex and ever-changing New Zealand Immigration system can be a daunting task, and it's something that is very close to home for me. I have gone through various visa processes myself, but also witnessed friends, who became family, leaving New Zealand due to bad advice."
Lisa recruited migrants to New Zealand during border closures and afterwards, and is eager to provide advice to help others along their immigration journey.
Koru Migration's approach is fair, inclusive and free from bias.
We are LGBTQIA+ friendly and an ally to the rainbow community.
